Joan Velardi boasts more than 20 years of management experience in distribution, sales, marketing and importing/exporting.  In 2003, Ms. Velardi joined David Hirschman Realty, Inc. as a Sales Associate and now specializes in the sale and lease of office and industrial properties in Eastern Passaic County and Northwest Bergen County. Additionally, she specializes in retail properties in Ridgewood.

Prior to her real estate career she was employed in international marketing and sales for companies such as Stauffer Chemical, International Flavors and Fragrances, and W.R. Grace, and owned and managed her own food import/export business in Europe.

Ms. Velardi received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Cross College.  After living in Europe for 13 years, Ms. Velardi returned to her native Bergen County and now resides in Glen Rock, NJ.  Her most notable transactions include:  Exclusive representation of 11 buildings totaling approximately 246,000 sq. ft., with 199,000 sq. ft. for lease/sale and sold a 13,500 sq. ft. office building in Hackensack to a printing brokerage firm; Obtained property and construction management contract for 13,500 sq. ft office building.
